It is hard to explain about The Definition of UX because everyone has a different definition and opinion; however, it is becoming popular the word The Concept of UX, which means we still might know the only a shallow knowledge of UX at this stage.

 

The Relatively Common Sense of UX Theories

1. Hassenzahl’s Model of UX

Also common sense of UX consists of two aspects, such as the pragmatic and the   hedonic/emotional. For example, screen saver of PC aim to prevent burn-in LCD monitor, whereas it has converted enjoyable animation currently. In these things includes the pragmatic side and the hedonic/emotional side. Judging from the above, the Hassenzahl’s Model of UX is the quite popular concept of UX.

2. UX Over Time with Periods of Use and Non-use

Besides, the UX over time with periods of use and non-use is worth a mention in passing. This is focusing on the timeline of the service which means we have to analyze every service step what should we think and try to do.

3. The Structure of UX

According to Jessee James Garrett, The Elements of User Experience consists of 5 layers, such as surface, skeleton, structure, scope and strategy. Hence, a building UX concept is not only the UI deign part (surface), but also it is profound to consider more behind the meaning of the concept (skeleton - strategy).

Using iPhone had given the profound impact to all cell phone users. The reason is that it has beautiful hardware design, multi touch functions and unboxing etc.

Starbucks is not just a selling coffee, but also it is important to serve a comfortable furniture, cozy BGM and good coffee aroma. This company pursues the Customer Experince.
